If you distill it, social media in general is to grab attention. The behavior of posting something that other people will notice is to seek attention. Will our engagement yield to anything meaningful, I doubt it. There maybe some lose connections here and there.

Definitely. It feels wild to recognise that. And as a conversation it brings up a lot to think about considering how I struggled with leaving sm and then returned time and time again

I took a 30 day sabbatical from SM. Slipped up many times…but it felt good at the end. I think a good chunk of us feel the vanity. I post here because I feel a sense of closeness(proximity) to people..weird.
