I hate news grids so much. Especially masonry style. They have no flow for reading - your eyes have to look all over the place, it’s mentally taxing. A single one-column stream is soooo much more pleasant.

that's the thing, grids or articles make it very difficult to skim and find things that you might be interested in, difficult to spark curiosity where everything is shouting at you, I wonder how many people actually go lurking for content only to bounce off because of it
