Hard truth: clients don't want to pay you on time. Products are paid in full upon exchange, so why not services?

The reason - service businesses have terrible Point-Of-Sale systems. When you go to checkout with a product, they have one step to checkout: type in their card info. Each side had an even trade, immediately.

With services, clients have too many steps to checkout. They have to dig in their inbox to view the invoice, then open up their bank app, type in the wire information, and send. It’s even worse if your services have multiple milestones.
