There is nothing more helpful than using a Finder window to make sure elements within a design are correctly aligned.

Yes! Similarly, my go-to for aligning and measuring is often the command-shift-4 screenshot crosshairs. You can draw a rectangle and see the px measurements, then hit escape to make it go away when you’re finished without actually capturing a screenshot.
