Totally agree. Excited to see where Framer goes!

Yeah nothing comes close to webflow when you bring the cms elements in.

I thought Framer was just for prototyping! I haven’t tried it yet, but their functionality looks very basic.

I’m a Framer investor but right now agree Framer is great for light / medium complexity websites. There def are features Webflow has / supports that Framer doesn’t yet so if you need maximum flexibility and feature set Webflow might be the way for now…

I like the idea of webflow, as it does feel more like visual coding. I am however sometimes frustrated that the supposedly “lower level” tool is more restrictive in some aspects than Framer is

Seeing a lot of design twitter talking about ditching Webflow for Framer. Curious Post’s thoughts.

Framer looks awesome, but in no way is it a comparable to Webflow. Two completely different tools that excel at two totally different things.

Like comparing Figma to Illustrator.

I think the pure speed at which you can create with is what gets me so excited to use Framer. As someone that loves Figma and feels confident with it, those skills translate into Framer unlike any other software

Framer is really great. But I strongly believe that it would be better if they allowed multiple CMS Collections on the Basic plan.

Honestly it looks super powerful. Just lacks a lot of big accessibility options needed to be viable on the web for bigger projects

I think is better to not comparing them as both are unique on their own ways. The mental model are quite different and it subjects to designers preference. 

Folks who promote one and ditch the other are lack of understanding, maturity and self awareness.

I’m mostly just looking to experiment with a new portfolio. Like every other designer out there 😏

Love seeing products emerge that make our quality of life better as creatives. 🙌

There seemed to be an orchestrated push in the last month so defo been on an influencer marketing run, I agree

I'm sure if we took a look at Framer's books we would find some payouts to 'influencual' designers.
