this 💯. A good teacher can make a big difference. I had two physics teachers in high school. First one made me hate this subject, while the other made me love it so much that I became a professional mechanical engineer.

teachers are so important bc i took french all the way up until 12th grade only bc i loved my teacher. 8 years later i still remember a lot of it and it's been very fun practicing it on duolingo again
My mom forced me to take honors Spanish during high school, and while it was really difficult at the time, I still remember quite a bit and I can even pick up the general idea of a conversation when I'm watching a tv show and there are no subtitles for spanish-speakers
