I think you’ll find that nobody makes a touchscreen in that shape, and ordering a custom panel is impossible without millions of $ up front

Back to my explorations with this keyboard... What if we keyboards could have an accesible, multipurpose and intuitive touchscreen? FWIW I think there was still juice left in the touchbar paradigm. IMO it was the placement and lack of predictability that got in the way.

I should also say that I love it. I’ve dreamed of a side oriented Touch Bar. Perhaps capacitive touch strips which are used in some synthesizers? Less visually exciting, but as others noted you usually want your eyes on your screen when typing, not down at your desk
I really your explorations! I also feel the same way about the touchbar paradigm. I think points like placement, tactility and customisability are also things holding back the original touchbar design.
