Back in the day it wouldve been: 20240423_CamelCase_NC

Year, month, day, file, person’s intuitions of file.this was it it was duplicated we knew who did what. 

Now it's just: Camel Case_*insert type* (wip, presentation, handoff, etc)

How do you name files?

1. CamelCase
2. snake_case
3. hyphen-case

Something else?

My file naming is a mix of snake & hyphen. Hyphens are used to break up catalog.

DATE_Client-ProjectName_version_author

Example:
240403_Nike_LandingPage_v2_dme

I like hyphen-case because the cursor snaps to the hyphen when I’m editing with ALT + arrow key. But underscores are easier to read… 🤔

hypen-case because it's easier to jump around and edit. But 'meta' infos get added after in snake_case

camelcase or snakecase depending on the language. mostly camel case though. also it would be a lower c for camel 😅

and if it has multiple versions or revisions, then usually: YYMMDD_snake_case
