As someone who’s never edited videos in a ‘professional’ capacity, can a real knower explain if is there a technical reason why the Adobe Premiere timeline is capped at 24 hours? Or is this just some arbitrary limit?

I know there is workarounds I can do with the help of external tools etc etc, I’m just grumpy that I pay $80+ a month to have access to this tool, only for it to give me a seemingly needless limit lol
