a weather app called RainViewer has, so far that i have seen, the best implementation of them IMO you can cycle through locations/weather data using the widgets— i use them multiple times daily remainders has been pretty useless, other than the large size widget

Yeah, that’s a better use. With Reminders I’d hope for toggle to turn on/off interactivity in the widget. I noticed several times that items disappeared from my list without my knowledge–I’ve checked them without knowing.

that’s unfortunate, yeah i wish that they kept the 2 second delay that we get in the regular app, so you can correct your accidental tap before it disappears

Agree on todo lists. Only good use case I’ve experienced so far is control of Apple Music or Sonos

All my other widgets are pre-interactive widgets. I’m sure there are excellent and fun implementations. Reminders is poorly done. I’d hoped for a setting in the widget to turn off interactivity.

Been trying to justify but just can’t get there… a habit thing I guess. Seeing 2-3 items isn’t that much more helpful than just clicking into the app.
