I'm paying for YouTube to avoid ads, yet these YouTube creators are now inserting several of them throughout their videos.

Are apps like Babbel and Duolingo effective? Or are they mostly for boosting our egos while gathering dust on our phones? 

They make you feel productive without the actual language learning part and I think that's their secret business model.

Everything is so fake and repetitive. It’s like all these social networks are dead and lifeless, and with the rise of AI, I have a feeling it will only get worse.

It's interesting how, despite years of design experience, talent, research, knowledge, and wisdom, designers have not moved away from data tables, nor are they capable of doing so.

We havent solved basic human communication and we think we’ll solve machine communication.

It feels like the tech economy has created this persona that fits a role and only hires the persona that fits that role which in the end creates designers who become the persona that fits the role.

Does anyone know where the idea came from that Ego means being mean, evil, bad, and not nice? I see a lot of talk about design without Ego which feels like corporate jargon bullshit. Ego is essential for creativity.

I was surprised to discover that designers are creating reaction videos. Now, I can’t wait for videos where designers react to others' designers reactions. This will indeed add another layer of engagement, insight and of course priceless value.

What is it with this nonsense where someone creates a profile on one social network and then posts that same profile on another social network to inform everyone they’ve moved to a new social network? Is this some kind of performance art?
