I use Spotify. I’ve wanted to switch to Apple Music multiple times but it never stuck. I think it was just the UX/UI of Spotify that I preferred. I’m still open, though. Maybe I just need to force myself to use it exclusively for a few weeks. Hm.
Thinking about switching from Spotify to Apple Music… 🤔 What are you using and do you have any thoughts on this?
Interesting and understandable. Thanks for sharing. :) What do think about the new Spotify update?
I think its new discovery preview feature is actually pretty interesting. It makes sense. I'm not sure I'm the target audience for it, though. I don't really “shop around” for podcasts - but maybe I will use it to find new music. I get that people want a "music app", though.
I think Spotify is just capitalizing on the fact that podcasts are more popular than they've ever been and are continuing to grow. Also makes sense. I think if we can use the app as we have been by easily avoiding that more active-TikTok-esque home screen, I think I'm ok with it
Yeah I agree, definitely going to try it out. Was never a real fan of the Spotify home screen, I’m instantly switching to the library every time. So maybe it’s not a big deal, let’s see
The discovery aspect is not as good as Spotify, but I find the overall UX better and the audio quality is great. There are apps that will port over Spotify playlists if you happen to have things you want to carry over.
