If you don’t index your pages you can’t show up in any search results - how would you drive traffic independently?

Newsletter, messaging apps, mouth to mouth… I get ~60% of visits from Google/web search

Thats a decent chunk of search engine traffic. Do you think you would still allow your site to be generally indexed and only block crawlers, or would you remove it from the index entirely?

Yeah, I’ve been putting a lot of thought into this lately. The AI revolution is going to decimate SEO as we know it, and companies that aren’t paying attention are going to get left in the dust.
