more seriously i think many people here *are* kids without more than a superficial awareness of how everything fits together. lots of students and people breaking in. but also it might not feel real until shit starts really hitting the fan next week.

Many folks don’t, you’re right. That’s not even insulated to just designers, either.

What an incredibly bad take from someone with such a strong resume. Chill on the koolaid. Let people connect through a shared passion for aesthetic & craft. The business side of design doesn’t need to be injected everywhere. Especially when that discourse is happening next door.

Absolutely gutted for founders and early teams that have been affected.

i think it’s because this is a different type of community, twitter is for SVB discussions, posts is where people come to talk about passions and hobbies + not think about the real world for a while (in my humble opinion) 🤷🏻‍♀️
