I think fingerprints will be an irritating thing for me lol, ty for the input!

Initially, my eyes were fixated on the pro until I saw the Air's design and midnight color and my designer eye started rolling. Still, performance-wise, I agree the pro won't cause much headache in the long-run and is a safer option.

With a pro + that workload, you’ll never worry (or even think about) about performance — depends on if that’s worth it for you

Will be buying my first MacBook soon (Wohoo!) I'm stuck between the gorgeous midnight blue M3 Air or any of the pros. My tasks will be mainly design, browsing, watching movies/ shows & coding (planning to learn SwiftUI)

Go for the Pro, it will last longer and cause fewer headaches when you push it a bit harder. This thing is still working like a charm.

Just get the best spec you can, it will last longer. 16Gb RAM minimum. Enjoy your new MacBook!

Peers who have the dark one have said fingerprints are a thing. I have  classic MBP M3 Max and design all the things. No complaints and it’s don’t care when I touch it.
