Great point! Context is definitely key when it comes to design decisions. Do you think there are any industries or types of websites where desktop-first still makes sense, or is mobile the priority for most apps/ startups now?

Yeh web is still very much alive, if you are talking just the website like landing page etc then you have to target both regardless
