Sufficient, not anything special. I use a USB webcam (Logitech, opal) 90% of the time. 

However it is nice to have the built in cam as a fallback if the webcams glitch.

I have 2 and like them - they just work, in my experience.

I already have a Dell monitor that just works, so probably not worth it then. What do you think of the video quality of the camera?

Oh no I’m so sorry! Aren’t those pretty necessary? What’s your workaround for having no USB ports?

It’s also nice to know all peripherals will just work via studio display. I put my Acer back on my desk and have to play musical chairs to get the right powered ports.

I love my studio display. I prefer my text to be 100% crispy so I went with the default glass. I’ve heard the nano texture is good but you will get some diffusion occurring.

Well, all my usb ports quit working right after my 1 year warranty was up. So there’s that.

Those who have an Apple Studio Display, what do you think of it? Is the nano texture glass worth the $$?

I dealt with issues with my Opal camera and using Loom. Hoping a built-in camera on the monitor will make things less painful

Oh nooooo, nightmare scenario given the price point

Yeah it’s not great. I have a temporary USB hub until I decide when I can take to Apple to get fixed 😒
