@heerendarji thanks for the feedback and ideas! 100% agree with the slanted text - it just looks cool but it’s not the best design. About different types of comments - yeah, we had the ‚figma’ comments in the app, this was an idea for additional ‚text tool’ that is always visible
UI exploration - comment design in a visual collaboration app for architects and civil engineers - trying to simulate the feel of a semi-transparent tape or tracing paper, often used by architects while providing feedback.
Oh! Make sense. I totally dig these visuals ♥ Looks cool. I've had long interest in Architecture, Urban Planning and Architects, so too excited to share my thoughts 🙂 Keep posting 🚀
1/ This is awesome. One caveat I could think of is the comments with some angle. It can get difficult to read due to straining to head to read the comment but loved the execution of semi transparent tape. Also considering scalability of th length of comments.
2/ Thinking out wild here: We could have option to leave two types of comments. 1. Normal comments: The one that you see in figma, which can be as long as it can be.
3/ 2. Semi transparent Comments: Has limited characters, and you can have them angled as well since it won't span multiple lines.
