I love Arc browser because the design really let's web design shine through in a way other browsers don't

It gets really annoying when I'm viewing sites that comes with its own sidebar, in that cases I definitely hide arc sidebar to navigate the site better

great point! it's especially annoying on a laptop with not as much screen real estate

I actually don't use boosts too much, most of my usage for that feature has just been giving dark mode to the sites I visit that don't already have one

I'd argue the design of the interface itself does the opposite for me a bit, due to the sidebar and thick border

I think it's more about getting used to, at the beginning I had the same feelings about the sidebars, but still gave it a try, so now I'm using it mostly with sidebars on but when I need full focus on site I hide the sidebar, in reality that sidebar really does a good job
