I always feel like anything beyond 2h of focused work on something yields diminishing returns. Of course, only applies if it's something you're really good at.

Seasoned designers work on instinct, and fast. But don’t mistake instinct for subjectivity. It’s a skill honed over thousands of hours, grounded in millions of tiny rational steps. The difference? Instinct gets the job done without needing to spell out every step.
I’ve had special and very rare moments of intense creativity that lasted for much more than 2 hours. It felt like I could continue forever in this state, but unfortunately, the body needs rest. I did learn to leave everything else and use this special gift, though.
