I love my e-reader. Beyond just books I load any papers I want to read onto it as well and it’s been incredibly convenient — plus relatively cheap, all things considered.

Yeah you’re right ! And I took Kobo because you can connect the Pocket app. Like that you can access to the articles you saved

Ah that’s amazing! Not sure where you’re located but the other cool thing that for sure existed when I was living in Canada was OverDrive, where you could connect to and get books from your local library.

Ahhh that’s cool ! I’m living in France. But some libraries could sell ebooks here but we don’t have a service like OverDrive 🤔

Yeah, I haven’t seen it since moving to Europe for work either… maybe just a Canada/America thing… but there’s plenty of good Are.na channels with free PDFs of design books and much more, so I’m not short on things to read 🙂‍↕️

I didn’t know about this site ! Thanks for the sharing. These times I’m reading classics books so it’s easy to find them free because they are in the public domain

I actually spent a lot of time earlier this year doing that too! Maybe not all classics, but books popular enough to be easily findable as PDFs There's lots of Are.na channels with PDF books but this one is possibly the largest are.na/sydney-k-y/the-…
