Stumbled upon a confusing mental health questionnaire in the Apple Health app today. I see overlapping generic options like "several days" and "more than half the days" regardless of the questions. like why? Felt weird. But I’m curious to know the rationale.

Health questionnaires are often standardized with years of research on a very particular phrasing, and you’re not supposed to change it even to make it clearer. Very frustrating and completely at odds with normal design processes.
