I’ve only been making sounds for two years now—simply to explore sounds (never played an instrument). I recorded a bunch of sketches like a journal; this was made back in January when I was unemployed for months and received a bunch of rejection emails.

This is cool. What do you use to make your sounds and how does one step into this hobby?

I use analog gear—eurorack to be specific. You basically build your own synth. If you’re interested in modular synths/eurorack. However it’s really expensive. Check out VCV rack (it’s free). I started off with Korg Volcas: Keys, Bass, and sample 2. Or try an affordable groovebox
