If it's on a Mac or browser, you could try Gifox. I recently paid for it and love it. Exports gif by default but also supports MP4 and mov.

Wow this looks sick, love how seamless it seems. Do you find the paid version and longer recording more worth it?

I like paid because it's high quality with no watermark. One-time purchase made it worth it for me!

Example on dropmark: dpmk.in/i/1PTSv2ZNX3 Dropmark is a paid sub, but it’s nice to have the whole library available. I bought eagle (app, no sub) for offline use and to make sure I had a local database of my inspiration saved. No easy way to sync them unfortunately

I take a lot of short videos with Eagle, then add tags to help find them again. Keeps everything well organised in one place

I usually take a video (ctrl + shift + 5) and upload to Are.na in dedicated folders. It’s where I keep most of my inspiration and works well for me!

Screenrecord or cleanshot, send it to mymind and tag accordingly. Myminds search has been weird though, need an alternative

It’s a little messy but either QuickTime on Mac, or built-in Screen Recorder on iPhone and then put into cloud based folder 🤷🏻‍♀️
