Nintendo really is great at UI design. This is the DS game console's home screen. Love the exposed grid. The playful colors, and iconography. This screams childhood nostalgia for me.

BTW the pink parts of the UI is the default skin on the Delta emulator which is sweet too. My original post refers to the homescreen UI within the two displays.

Kept my original DS Lite and still break it out now and then. This UI and all the audio design is 👌

This is so true, Nintendo is totally slept on for UI. The Switch’s interface, especially its use of very fast animations, is more satisfying than any top mobile app imo.
