made the time to explore some gpt-3 stuff with @carloj this weekend. one thing I made is a bot that helps you reflect on where you are.

neat! what’s it felt like using it so far? asked another way: have you noticed a moment where you thought something like, “oh, interesting! im not sure i expected to feel/think/do that.”

Yes I actually! Although I’ve given it a list of questions/prompts it should ask. So I’m less surprised about the questions themselves, but I’m hoping it might feel differently for others.

ah, i see! seeing the example you shared leads me to think about what i [personally] anticipate myself needing in order to feel safe engaging with/responding to the prompts …either way, very cool! consider me curious about where this exploration might lead

totally, let me see if I can unwind this. pls, lmk if anything below is fuzzy! …I was trying to express something like, “huh, I can sense myself feeling reluctant about ‘leaning into’ sharing responses to questions posed to me by a piece of software im just coming to know.” 1/2

Totally, that makes a lot of sense! Some things I’ve seen similar bots do is make very clear what their use case is / what their boundaries are, and also things like “this data is only saved locally “. But will think more on this! Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback.
