I think it’s currently only media playback in the PIP

Right, just the first thought that comes to mind when I see the demo on a simulator with the dynamic island, haha

I think apps are already able to do this if they want to. IIRC the Delta emulator on iOS can show you your game in a PiP window with no special entitlement?
