There's something so satisfying about the default <hr>. It's like someone scored a piece of card stock or sheet metal. A cute little digital trompe-l'œil. I don't see it used too much nowadays.

There's no space for limiting beliefs in 2024

Since mid-2020, I've been automating a Python script called "abstraktr" which randomly produces abstract images. It has been running continuously on my Tumblr page. Today, I added a new module and extra lines to the script. This version generates animated .webp. Some samples.

Just noticed that Google is crawling read.cv job listings and surfacing them in their results. Pretty neat!

Added a little screen saver feature to my website that randomly changes the color and border radius of a nav button after a few moments of inactivity (also included some logic to insure the random color combos are WCAG compliant 😉)
