Finishing the last preparations for this new version of MD IO, my (WIP) monospace type family. It’s a big update — 80 new glyphs, 2 new weights, and a bunch of OpenType features futurefonts.xyz/mass-driver/io
Thanks for supporting the project! It’s come a long way since those first versions :)
IO started out as a dedicated typeface for code, although it’s become way more versatile over time. The basic idea has always been to make the most legible design possible — and the weirder features, like 90° italic terminals & chunky ink traps, all serve that purpose
