The main thing I learned from design school is being aware of and explicitly articulating my design choices. It took me from being intuitive with my designs to becoming intelligent with my designs. When I got into UX, being intelligent with my designs became my superpower.

But data-driven madness made me lose touch with my intuition and I’ve struggled with finding the right approach for my design practice since. Anyway, I just re-downloaded Photoshop and what a joy it is to move things around and create intentional effects intuitively.
