Hey y'all! How do I get started with vector illustrations?

One way that we got started in my design school… google images (or create with ai now), and trace something interesting from the image.   Just tracing a person’s face from an image and adding different layers for the eyes, mouth, and shadows teaches you a lot

Using the “live trace” feature in illustrator on an image can help you get some ideas too
