Why Adobe Portfolio does not get a decent update in, like, at least 10 years? What "free" portfolio platforms do you use or recommend?

Update: I´ve tested read.cv sites but it is a bit limited on personalization. I´m sure that the builder is great but takes a time and I assume that a designer with a real interest in front-end dev. would dig. Not my case.
