You feel like Dribbble is still the place to be?

Nope. But it's easier than a full portfolio isn't it 🤣

True! Just wondering since I started uploading again, and comparing it to Behance I like the fact that it ‘s more delightful — but *feels* less professional. Not sure. Curious to see what you think of it

My biggest issue with Dribbble is the profiles don't feel personal. I.e. Someone could come to view my profile and very quickly start looking at other designers work.

Yes, you’re totally right. I like the feed, but once on a profile — it lacks personality. For me; Dribbble is like the place to be as a student/junior freelancer. But once you gain bigger clients and want to be taken seriously you should invest in Behance.

Not that any of this makes sense, haha. In the end it’s all about the work you shared — I know.

The platform you choose to share it on usually just affects the design culture you get emerged into. Behance has one. Dribble has another. DeviantArt another. Figma Community has a very different one. And so on, and so on.

I hate to admit it but this is true!

I wish we can go back to 2015 era of Dribbble. It now feels like dick measuring contest for Visual Designers 😢
