We get career goals so backwards sometimes. 

The goal isn’t more work and more money. 

People want less work and enough money to live.

I think the recent explosion in popularity of UI #darkPatterns is a result of the cyclical erosion of product quality that’s crossed a threshold where large market segments wouldn’t reasonably consider using the product anymore.

Mark Zuckerberg said that what you say only has meaning if the opposite is also true. 

The statement itself is meaningless.

“Being authentic” isn’t an excuse to be an abrasive poop waffle covered in toenail clippings. People would more often rather you just fake being nice.
