Now that we're living in what feels like a fascist, cyberpunk hell...I've found myself drawn to a nascent genre called "hopepunk". An emotional and intellectual counterprogramming to unrelenting nihilism which is at core of fascist culture. Here are some recs:

Books: 1. Becky Chambers - anything by her. 2. Murderbot Diaries (a great series) 3. Legends and Lattes, and the prequel sequel Bookshops and Bonedust.
I think Becky Chambers is more solarpunk than anything but the two definitely seem to go hand in hand. Gonna check out Murderbot & Legends and Lattes this year! I’ve had the former on my read list for ages.
