Talking with my students tomorrow about merch. What other illustrator/designers have their own merch playing the biggest part in their practice? I’m thinking of people like Aaron Draplin, Gemma Correll, Lisa Congdon.

Nina Cosford, Anna Kohlweis (super talented Austrian illustrator but she also does a lot of single drawings / small paintings ie not always series / digital art)
Vashti Harrison is another one that comes to mind! But I’m not sure if “book illustrator” is the type of merch you are looking to give examples of. She’s been really successful with it as I think she really found a niche (and obvi is super talented)
