WIP Typeface family, Joe & Elaine (created in Glyphs)
That's the one I'm calling Joe! The "family" will consist of three complimentary fonts, Joe, Elaine, and Jim
What’s the story behind the names? Naming fonts is an interesting challenge.
Joe was named after some of the inspiration lettering I used to create the font, it was advertising a "$1 cup of Joe" —and Elaine is for the street I was residing on in the city where I saw the inspirational work :)
I followed you to your website and found the meaning behind the names. Nice. Do you know Future Fonts? The couple behind it are good friends and I (and other font lovers) I have backed lots of fonts in development. futurefonts.xyz
