I wish I was playing MAGIC but instead I’m designing BRANDS.

I’ve been a professional designer for two decades and I’m still convinced I haven’t found product market fit yet. Maybe this is my year.

I find it difficult to explain what I do. It makes me think about how to tell the story that would work as a party intro — “I help companies align who they are with how they look.” I know it’s more than just aesthetics, but the simplicity is compelling. What do you tell people?

Current new biz conversations: startup brand identity, Christmas album website, startup fundraising messaging and deck, theater festival brand campaign, and an apparel company. Folks, I think my generalist nature is getting in the way of running a consistent business.
