in my opinion, some the best pictures are the ones that are technically amazing **and** the backstory is compelling. love this.

This is the most significant photo I have taken. It was taken 20 years ago to the day from a departure gate at Bangkok airport. There was a young woman a few meters away, passing the time her own way. 30 minutes later our worlds collided as we sat down in seats B and C… ✨
I spent the morning looking through the negatives. One roll of film, over 5 weeks. A documentary of the end of a relationship and the spark of the other. Contrast that with life now: 27 photos of my dog this morning and I won’t look at them again. Or delete them.
