apparently the authors argue against conventional design methods and encourage designers to come up with thought-provoking ideas about what the future could hold, rather than focusing solely on practical problem-solving. Here’s the index:
This is what I’ve always done and believed design should do (and I was confused when people didn’t think this is what it was 😭) highly encourage and have said so in many talks
it’s definitely a lot harder to design that way haha 😅 but I 100% see the value in it and know why that’s what we should be doing
anything else is fine if what you’re doing is meant to be incremental, to be real… many ppl aren’t in a situation that allows much leeway. but it’s always shocked me when people _are_ and then don’t take it
