Some product companies tend to live by the motto 'Move fast and break things'. I think that's the case with Meta, and maybe it it works for product features. But in many others cases, for example hardware, the first impression matters, because it often is the only impression.

I spent years working with Facebook API’s and loathe whoever decided “move fast and break things” was a good strategy 😅

Nothing ever worked. Documentation was always wrong. Some of the most painful times I’ve spent as a dev. I would never voluntarily work with their API again.
