Been playing around with an idea in my head for awhile now. An app to track what your newborn/toddler does, with automatic trends/callouts. Something our family does already in a WeChat group. Building it out with Rails + HTMX + TailwindCSS.

Didn’t watch Config, but got the email summarizing the features. Seems kinda crazy they are nickel and diming on the slides and AI features, would’ve assumed they are included in subscriptions. What’s more, charging for AI features while also training on your designs by default…

Ruby on Rails and HTMX are such a killer stack. So often you find yourself saying “wow that just worked”.
