Canva is a big player now, and maybe it's for the best. I think they'll release a Figma-like platform soon (within six months, this offer gives that vibe). With Penpot, Lunacy, Figma, Affinity, and Sketch, competition is always good for us.

How come? Has something bad come of that?

The big advantage of Affinity in opinion was no subscription, so my fear is Canva (a sub based service) will move Affinity to that model.

I purchased it 1-2 weeks ago, though I rarely use it. I hope some Canva-like features are added to the app, or vice versa.

I loved Affinity, such a shame they got acquired by Canva though
