Tried my hand at porting @alexcornell’s launch animation for Linear Asks from Canola Oil to SwiftUI Shaders.

Multiple pattersn arranged in a grid.

First row: Two dot-based patterns. A gradient of techno dots that get smaller from top-left to bottom-right using blue dots on an orange background. The other is a polka dot pattern of blue dots on a red background.

Second row: A fishscale pattern, light blue with white outlines.

Fourth row: Vertical wavy lines, alternating between mint, blue, pink and and. Another pattern of straight diagonal lines alternating between yellow, white, red and white.

FYI, I launched a Patreon where I share the code to some of the animations I post patreon.com/swiftui_snippe…

Made some quick and dirty SwiftUI labels based on Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Screenshot, iOS Simulator

For labels, in order:

“Failure”, set in all caps in a purple gradient and white drop shadow atop a jagged black outline.

“Robb Joins the Battle!” with a slight 3D angle. “Robb” is set in white and the rest is set slightly smaller with an orange gradient.

“Clear!”, set in all caps with an orange gradient and thin white outline atop a white drop shadow, with another drop shadow in light gray.

“Game!”, set in all caps with an multicolor gradient and an offset stroke drop shadow atop mutiple black and white outlines.
