I turned down a lead product design role at Careem in 2015. A few years later the guy who took the job tried to recruit me as senior designer. His name is also Mohammad Imran, and he’s pakistani like me. 🙃 They later merged with Uber and become a super app in the east.

when I was 13/14, Google reached out to me for an interview. I purchased CS books, studied up, and was so excited. you can imagine my disappointment when the recruiter realized my age and had to break the news that they weren’t going to be able to continue with the process. 🥲
