Like this a lot but totally dependent on context. Wouldn't you be so pissed if your HR software said this when you were trying to access your paycheck? I wonder what a B2B SaaS voice might sound like
Yes. Error messages should be actionable and informative. Personifying software is a projection of the designer that is only appropriate if the app is meant to be perceived as such.
