This thread reminded me that my TV is technically a smart TV… my Apple TV remote is set up to turn it on/off and control volume so I haven’t needed to touch the main remote or any of the normal “smart” features in 2 years

I might get a Roku TV stick or go back to the Amazon Fire Stick idek 

I probably won't do anything until this monitor finally dies (the screen glitches sometimes) or the Chromecast dies, whichever happens first

I have a basic monitor and Chromecast I use for my TV and it's only a matter of time until I'm forced to get a smart TV 😤

This is the best, if you can go that route! Tell your tv some incorrect WiFi details and remove the old ones

dont connect it to wifi and use only an apple tv

I hate modern tv software. All time worst.
