Yea, hardware-wise there is not much to reinvent these days. It's all about software now - which is still nice. I am curious how all of that will pan out. I can see AI being embedded a lot more in operating systems.

Yeah, those were the days. So many different styles and functionality. Miss the variety of devices.

Oh man those HTC weather widgets were a ton of fun. 2006 to 2012 is my favorite era of phones. Tons of OEMs putting all the stops (hardware and software) to stand out. Man I miss the Palm Pre, HTC’s Google G1, Blackberry Pearl, Samsung Blackjack, the first iPhone…what a time.

I’ve been waiting for desktop widgets on macOS since using HTC Weather widget on Windows 7.

Definitely! Especially I’m curious about how core interactions of OS will change, like working with files, searching, etc.
