I can’t for the life of me figure out why I would use their app (aside from updates) when I can just hit the airplay icon. Granted I only have 1 Sonos but it works fine for it and the Apple TV separately.

So this new Sonos app... hmmm. I am baffled by a lot of these UI / UX decisions.
When you have music playing from the speakers themselves, with Spotify, rather than from the iPhone/Mac your airplaying from, it sometimes makes sense! And to set alarms…
This icon! I THINK I’ve worked out it means ‘show all your Sonos speakers’ and it’s meant to be a couple of different generations shown. I wondered about bookmarks at first.
😶🌴 Sonos app version 80.0 The Sonos app can enable or disable alarms, but cannot currently create new alarms or edit existing alarm settings. These features will return in a future update.
I keep finding more strange things! I emailed their CEO, so I’m sure it’ll be sorted soon.
