I really enjoy working on smaller displays as well. Less eye-travel, more focused. As long as you have window management shortcuts under your fingers, it's a better experience.

I've been really loving working from my co-working space with my 13" MacBook Pro and a 15.5" 4k display. I've noticed at home I've been using this setup more so than my Mac mini and 32" monitor.
